Your defaults. Portable.
Your preferences, under your control
The workshop is designed to compile preferences locally in your browser. There are no accounts or analytics.
Your answers stay in this browser
This website does not upload your assessment answers or generated Skill. Answers, edits, response previews, imported profiles, and exports are processed locally. There are no accounts, runtime AI calls, ads, analytics, tracking scripts, or remote error reporting in the app. Dialed does not put your preferences into links or URLs.
Saving is your choice
By default, your workshop stays in memory in this tab. Refreshing or closing the tab loses unsaved work. “Save on this device” stores your answers, survey progress, edits, accommodations, and preferences in this browser’s local storage. It does not sync them to a server or another device. Saved work is checked before it is restored.
Saving has no automatic expiry. Anyone using the same browser profile on a shared device could access it. Your browser may clear stored data, and private browsing or blocked storage can prevent saving. Dialed shows a recovery message when saving or removal fails.
Remove saved data or reset
On the workshop pages, turn off “Save on this device” or choose “Remove saved data” to delete Dialed’s saved workshop while keeping your current work in this tab. “Forget my answers” asks for confirmation, then clears your current answers, edits, imported preferences, accommodations, and saving consent, and removes the saved workshop. If removal fails, an older saved copy may remain; follow the message and retry or clear this site’s data in your browser.
These controls do not delete downloaded files, clipboard contents, copies you shared, or preferences installed in another app. Manage those copies separately. Review your workshop.
Files and AI hosts
Import reads only the file you choose, validates it locally, and asks you to review it before replacing your work. Downloads are generated in your browser. Portable JSON contains effective preferences, versions, and historical source metadata, including answer counts; it leaves out raw answers, survey progress, and saving consent. Skill and preferences text describe your communication defaults.
Copying text puts it on your clipboard, which your device or browser may sync. Installing, pasting, or sharing an export supplies those preferences to the chosen AI host or recipient under their data policies. Review the file and that host’s policies before sharing. Dialed cannot remove those copies remotely. The installation guide explains manual removal.
What hosting still processes
Loading this website sends ordinary web requests to Cloudflare, our hosting provider. Cloudflare processes request metadata such as IP addresses and traffic information to deliver and protect websites. Local processing of your answers does not mean that visiting a website sends no data at all. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling of end-user data; Dialed does not set a separate retention period for that provider processing.
The app sets no cookies or persistent tracking identifiers. Fonts, images, and scripts are served with the site. Opening an external research or host documentation link makes a request to that provider, whose policies apply. Analytics are disabled; enabling them would require a separate product decision and an updated privacy notice.
